Hey! I'm Kristel Scheafer.
Family, Music & Photography... just a few things I'm incredibly passionate about. I grew up with a very close family that did things together all the time. Camping, Friday Family Nights, Softball, Bike Rides, Kickball, Golf, and Basketball, just to name a few . Lots of sports & activities, but most importantly, time spent together as a family. It's no wonder those exact activities have molded my values into what they are today, as a Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Friend, etc.
Why music? Because to me in life, when words fail, music speaks. As a child, I spent many hours lip singing to one of my many cassette tapes in front of a mirror. As an adult, nothing clears my head like putting on my headphones and jamming out. I can be having the worst day ever, but after 20 minutes of listening to the right kind of music, everything seems better.
And of course, Photography... My love for Photography stemmed from my Dad. He had a real eye for capturing nature when I was growing up. I loved and admired his work so much and I also displayed it in my home as an adult. Photography as a passion for me began when I had my 1st son. Back then, it was just me taking tonnes of photos of my child. But over time, the creativity wheels started turning, and eventually I realized that this form of art, is what I LOVE and need to do!
I'm now a Wife, and a Mother of 3 fabulous children. I love spending time with my family which includes watching Gymnastics, being at the Rink in the Winter watching both my husband and my son playing hockey, swimming lessons, and spending time together at the lake in the Summer, just to name a few.
On the business side, I'm a Photographer based out of North Battleford, Saskatchewan. I know that growth is never-ending, and that knowledge & expertise requires a constant strive to learn new techniques and ways to improve my work. I love meeting new people, and feel so privileged to be able to share my client's story, in my own form of art; my Photography.
Booking a session with me, is more than just a photoshoot. It's allowing me to capture you and your loved ones, in my own unique way. It's having a piece of art to share with your friends/family, hang on your wall, or have in an album, of treasured people and memories, forever
